Ten modules in the tradition of a professional typing school, each one assuming mastery of the last. You start with eight fingers on the home row and finish by passing a timed certification test. Every module states what it expects of you on the way out and makes you prove it before the next one opens.

• 1. Foundations — Posture, hand position, and the home row keys — A S D F J K L ;. Everything else in the course is built on this. Do not rush it.
• 2. Top & Bottom Rows — Expanding to the full alphabet — the QWERTY top row (Q–P) and bottom row (Z–M). Each new key is reached from home and the finger returns home.
• 3. Numbers & Basic Punctuation — The number row (1–0) and everyday punctuation — period, comma, apostrophe, hyphen. These are long reaches that reward deliberate practice.
• 4. Capitalization, Shift Keys & Symbols — Correct Shift technique (using the opposite hand), capital letters, and the common shifted symbols. This is where typing starts to look fully professional.
• 5. Common Words, Bigrams & Trigrams — Speed comes from patterns, not single keys. You'll drill the letter pairs (bigrams), triples (trigrams), and high-frequency words that make up most of English — until they flow as single motions.
• 6. Sentences & Paragraphs — Moving from words to continuous text. The skills here are reading ahead, maintaining rhythm across line breaks, and sustaining accuracy over full paragraphs.
• 7. Speed Building Drills — Now you deliberately push your ceiling. Short bursts, repetition of familiar text, and controlled acceleration raise your top speed without wrecking accuracy.
• 8. Accuracy Refinement — Speed training loosens accuracy; this module tightens it back up. You'll diagnose your specific error patterns and drill them out, converting your gross speed into high net speed.
• 9. Real-World Typing — Applying your skill to the material you'll actually type: emails, reports, code, and data entry. Each has its own vocabulary, symbols, and rhythm.
• 10. Advanced Mastery & Endurance — The final stretch: sustaining 60+ WPM over long sessions without fatigue or accuracy loss, then passing the certification test. This is where a skill becomes second nature.
